Snow Days
Today is not a day worthy to have a snow day used. This is nothing compared to last year when there was two inches of ice on the road and we still had school. It is actually not that hard to drive on the ice, I have gotten pretty good at it. I can fishtail down the road and still be in complete control of something most people would call out of control. In driver's ed they need to teach you how to drive on the snow better. One time my dad had just finished a truck and there was snow on the road and I asked if I could test drive it. He said yes and when I got onto the road he asked me if they were slick. I snapped the throttle and broke it loose and fishtailed it and brought it back. After that he told me all the stuff to do and not to do. I felt confident driving on the snow because he believed in me and not to mention it was someone else's vehicle so if I wrecked it we would have been screwed. All parents should take their kid out on the snow and let them drive and show them that you believe in them to get their confidence up so that they think they can do it and they will have little or no problems. With that being said I'm gonna go.
