A Serious Conflict

I am going to tell you about what happened to me at the Cruise Nite Car Show. It was going great until the muffler rap. I finally talked myself into doing it since I did it last year. When it was my turn I backed up to the meter and the guy said to go. I started revving my truck and stopped and he told me to get in it harder because I could do better. So I really romped on my truck and got a really good score but I could feel grinding on the gas pedal which is not good. I drove back over to my spot and parked and was really mad because I thought I really screwed up my truck. I walked over to the competition to see how everyone was doing and I ended up losing to the guy who wins every year who showed up at the last second to enter. When I got back to my truck I checked the oil and it was really low. When I got home I changed the oil so I could check for metal in it. Thankfully there wasn't and my truck is still running like a champ.
